Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso, introduced in 2014, is a refined edition of the original Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme fragrance released in 2012. This aromatic woody scent is a perfect blend of fresh and warm aromas, representing elegance and contrast. The fragrance is described as the essence of pure instinct and emotion, expressing the power of a resolute man with a traditional heart, yet enjoying the modern world.
The fragrance starts with a fresh aquatic accord and green notes of basil and lavender. The heart contains a new and unique note in the fragrance world, the luxurious floral, balsamic, and honey accents of Moepel wood from South Africa. The tobacco note is intensified by the dry hay absolute and bran. The base of labdanum, sandalwood, and cypress gives the fragrance its intensity and strength.
