Growing up in the historic Guerlain family home, Patricia’s destiny was shaped early by an atmosphere of elite olfactory creation. However, during an era when the industry was heavily male-dominated, she boldly broke away to chart her own path. In 1988, she became the first woman to win the International Prize for Young Perfumers from the French Society of Perfumers. One year later, she channeled her unmatched talent and lineage into her own brand, operating under a simple, powerful credo: to create exceptional, luxurious perfumes with total artistic freedom, completely unfettered by commercial marketing restrictions or budget limitations.

In-House Formulation: Every single fragrance is conceived and meticulously formulated by Patricia de Nicolaï alongside her son, Axel de Nicolaï (who now serves as General Manager), inside their private laboratory located just steps away from the Jardin du Palais Royal in Paris.

Patricia de Nicolaï's technical genius and dedication to the preservation of scent history are so highly revered that she has long served as the President of the Osmothèque in Versailles—the world's largest and most important historic perfume archive.
