      • Royal Origins: The brand's history began when James Henry Creed delivered a pair of scented leather gloves to King George III. It gained fame in the mid-19th century as a tailor for European royalty, including Queen Victoria and Empress Eugénie.
      • Seven Generations: The house has been shaped by seven generations of the Creed family, with Olivier Creed and his son Erwin Creed currently serving as creative directors.
      • Modernization: In 1970, Olivier Creed modernized the brand by making its exclusive fragrances available to the public for the first time
      Ownership & Operations (2025)
      Acquisition by Kering: In June 2023, the global luxury group Kering (owner of Gucci and Saint Laurent) acquired Creed for approximately €3.5 billion to lead its newly formed Kering Beauté division.

       Creed operates boutiques in major cities including Paris, London, New York City, Beverly Hills, Dubai, and Sydney. In 2025, it further expanded by opening its first flagship boutique in India at New Delhi
